Celebrating 20 Years of Innovation: Introducing Out 'n' About's v5 Range and Refreshed Branding
Redefining All-Terrain Pushchairs with Modern Features and Enhanced Convenience
At Out 'n' About, we are thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary, marking two decades of innovation in the world of all-terrain pushchairs. What started as a journey to find the ultimate off-road buggy for active parents has evolved into a legacy of excellence and a commitment to meeting the ever-changing needs of modern families. As we look back on our journey, we are excited to introduce the next chapter with the launch of our v5 range and a refreshed brand logo and styling.
Timeline Evolution:
2001 – Out 'n' About was founded, and the original Nipper was launched. Our founder, Andy Fensom, embarked on a mission to find a buggy that could withstand rugged terrains for his newborn daughter. Fuelled by his outdoor lifestyle and the recognition of other families seeking the perfect all-terrain pushchair, the design and manufacturing of the Nipper range began.
2005 – The Nipper V1 was launched, featuring the inclusion of a 360° swivel front wheel on the Single & Double model. This innovation brought enhanced manoeuvrability and versatility to our beloved Nipper range.
2011 – The V2 range was introduced, incorporating customer feedback and adding additional features such as an adjustable handlebar, inclusion of the bumper bar, and compatibility with carrycots and travel systems (on the single model). These updates further elevated the Nipper range and addressed the evolving needs of parents.
2013 – The V3 range introduced new colourways, giving our entire range a makeover and captivating families with its refreshed aesthetics. The Nipper evolved once again, staying true to its easy-to-use design while offering a fresh look.
2014 – With continuous development and expansion, the Out 'n' About range now consists of the V4, Nipper Double, Nipper Little Nipper Double GT & GT Double models. Our brand has become recognized on both sides of the world, gaining popularity among parents searching for their ideal pushchair.
2023 – Celebrating 20 years of innovation, we proudly present the v5 version of the Nipper, Nipper Double, Nipper Sport, and Nipper Sport Double. The v5 range embodies the culmination of customer feedback, technological advancements, and our commitment to excellence. It has higher quality, water-resistant fabrics, easy-to-use 5-point safety harness, extendable hood, redesigned back strap, and larger storage basket. We have also introduced a groundbreaking feature: the one-hand quick fold mechanism. This innovative folding mechanism simplifies the folding process, allowing parents to effortlessly fold their buggies with just one hand.
Celebrating 20 Years of Innovation:
As we reflect on our journey, we are immensely proud of the milestones we have achieved and the memories we have created. From being contacted by Kensington Palace and learning that the Nipper was chosen by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their children, to receiving numerous accolades and awards from esteemed organizations such as Mother & Baby and Loved by Parents, every recognition and positive customer review reaffirms our dedication to providing the best for parents and children alike.
We also want to express our gratitude to our loyal retailers who have been part of our journey for many years. We understand the changing retail landscape and the challenges it presents, and we remain committed to supporting our partners as we move forward together.
At Out 'n' About, our passion for innovation and our understanding of the evolving needs of parents drive us to continuously improve our products. The v5 range, with its enhanced features, modern design, and one-hand quick fold mechanism, represents the latest milestone in our journey of innovation. Combined with our refreshed brand logo and styling, we are excited to embark on the next 20 years of helping families explore the outdoors.
