Life with twins changes everything. Especially when you’ve come from a background of hiking, nature, and constant adventure, it can feel like your old life has completely disappeared overnight. But getting the Out’n’About Nipper Double V6 has been a total game changer for us as a family. It’s let us get back out on the trails we love without having to sacrifice comfort or practicality. It handles rough terrain like a dream, has a hand brake that makes going downhill way easier (life changing), and there's so much storage underneath for all the baby bits. It just works for our lifestyle. It’s made family walks feel fun again instead of like a mission.
Comfort and Practicality for Twins
Being outdoors is such a massive part of who I am and how I grew up, so it’s really important to me that our girls grow up surrounded by nature too. The V6 has made that possible right from the start. The girls sleep SO well in it, even when we’re bumping along rocky tracks, and I love that they can lie flat or go in the Nipper Newborn Pod if we want. It’s also got little peekaboo windows so we can check on them as we walk without stopping, which sounds like a small thing but makes such a difference when everything is on a time limit with feeding times. We’ve already made so many lovely memories out on the trails with them, and I just know they’re going to grow up loving the outdoors as much as we do.
Regaining Confidence Postpartum
Postpartum has been hard. Like, really hard. I’ve missed my old life so much, being out in nature, hiking, feeling strong and capable. I didn’t realise how much I relied on that part of me until I couldn’t do it anymore. But this pram has brought my confidence right back and I feel like myself again.

Our old pram (the Bugaboo Donkey 2) just didn’t cut it on the terrain we love, it’s bulky, doesn’t fit through our front door, and even with air tyres it struggled on trails. The Out’n’About Nipper Double V6 Plus folds down in seconds, fits through every doorway, is so lightweight I can push it with one hand, and I can even run with it, which has been massive for getting my fitness (and sanity) back. I don’t have to wait for adventures at the weekend anymore while my partner’s at work, I can just head out on my own with the girls and feel like me again. Plus... it has a cup holder. What more do you need?
