Frequently Asked Question

Need help? You’ll find answers to the most common questions here.

If you still need assistance, feel free to email us at info@outnabout.com or visit our Help Centre for more support.

What are the features of the Nipper Wagon?

The Nipper Wagon is a versatile push-and-pull all-terrain stroller wagon with seating for two children, two removable seats with 5-point safety harnesses, and the flexibility to create a lay-flat interior or a lowered floor for comfortable sitting. It features technical water-resistant fabrics, extendable sun and UV visors, a rain cover and cupholder included, and generous netting storage inside and out. Swivel/lockable front wheels make it easy to manoeuvre, and it’s designed for comfort, convenience, and adventure.

Can you use the Nipper Wagon on any terrain?

Yes – its large, air-filled tyres and robust suspension handle grass, gravel, park paths, and even sand. You can push or pull the Nipper Wagon, and the included pull rope or optional pull bar give extra versatility on rougher ground. However, as it’s heavier and has four wheels, it won’t perform off-road quite as well as our pushchairs.

Is the Nipper Double or the Nipper Wagon best suited to me?

The Nipper Wagon is suitable for a wider age range (newborn to ~7 years), is car seat compatible, narrower, and offers more space for gear. The Nipper Double is lighter, easier to push over uneven terrain, and allows jogging. Choose the Double for longer outdoor walks or running, and the Wagon for shorter trips, exploring town, beach visits, and when you need flexible seating or extra storage.

Can you use a carrycot or newborn insert with the Nipper Wagon?

We haven’t designed a dedicated carrycot or newborn insert for the Wagon, but you can create a completely flat interior for a newborn, or use the parent-facing car seat adaptors for added support and security

Why doesn’t the Nipper Wagon come with a pull bar included?

The Wagon comes with a pull rope as standard, and a pull bar is available as an optional accessory. Our testers found they mainly pushed the Wagon and only pulled it occasionally, making the rope sufficient for most. Offering the pull bar separately keeps the base package lighter and more affordable.

How easily does the Nipper Wagon fold?

Very easily – in just seconds. Grab the push handle, pull up the release levers, and the Wagon folds. Fold down the push handle and remove the quick-release wheels for an even more compact fit.

Will the Nipper Wagon fit in my car?

Yes – it folds to fit in most car boots. Removing the quick-release wheels makes it even smaller.

Can you jog with a Nipper Wagon?

No – the Nipper Wagon is not designed for jogging. For running, we recommend the Nipper Double V6 Plus or Nipper Double Sport, which meet the BS EN1888-3:2023 running standard.

Perfect for my 7 year old and newborn

Bought this wagon for my seven-year-old who can’t walk. Also bought the attachment to add my car seat so I can travel with my newborn and 7-year-old. I’m a petite person and with both kids, it is a little hard to push. The wagon itself is quite heavy, especially putting it in the boot. The wagon fits perfectly in the boot with the wheels off. I would recommend the wagon. Great fun for the kids and makes journeys easier.

Outnabout in the outback

We had a outnabout 360 for over 5 years, it travelled everywhere including a few ski holidays but as our 3 girls got older we thought about getting a wagon type pram. Based on our old 360 taking years of abuse we were confident to spend the money on the wagon in Feb 2025.

We took the wagon for a couple of test runs before visiting family in Australia in April 2025. The wagon was great and definitely easier to load up when out and about with a 2, 5 and 7 year old (plus cousins). We went off road a few times including beach trips and it was as easy if not better to move along as the old 360. The narrower width also helped when in towns.

We’ve had it in a few different car boots, with wheels off (easily done) we haven’t had any issues.

All the airlines treated it as a normal pram so good for carrying everything to the gate.

Bought this for my 4 year old who has SEN and my 18 month old, it’s been fantastic so far I use it daily for school runs and when we go on walks at the weekend, it is heavy but not horrendously so, the only downside for me is the rain cover, it seems like quite cheap quality and I’d prefer something sturdy that attaches to both ends with a zip or something so kids can be taken in and out without still on.
