How It Works

The Cycle to Work Scheme is a government-backed initiative that allows UK employees to get a tax-free bike and accessories, paid for monthly through your employer.

How to Apply

1. Fill in the Form Above

Select the bike and any accessories you'd like included.

2. Receive Your Invoice

We'll email your invoice within 24 hours (Monday–Friday). Weekend requests may take a little longer.

3. Apply Through GCI

Use your invoice to complete the Cycle to Work application on the Green Commute Initiative (GCI) website.

4. Receive Your Voucher

Once your application is approved, GCI will issue you a redemption voucher.

5. Send Us Your Details

Email the following to info@outnabout.com with the subject line: “C2W + [Invoice Number]”:

• Your invoice
• GCI Voucher - code & value
• Delivery Address
• Phone Number
  

6. We’ll Process Your Order

Once we’ve received your voucher, we'll confirm your order within 72 hours and arrange shipment of your bike.

Green Commute Initiative is the industry-leading and award-winning Cycle to Work Scheme provider with no spend limits and no ownership fees. You can save from 28–47% (depending on your tax rate).

Your employer does not need to be registered with GCI to use the scheme, while registration offers some benefits for employers, it’s entirely optional and has no impact on what you can get or how much you save as an employee.
