Buggy Maintenance
Everyday Buggy Maintenance
A little regular maintenance will help keep your buggy running smoothly and ready for plenty more adventures.
Tyres
Check your tyre pressure every few weeks. Underinflated tyres wear faster and can be more prone to punctures. We also recommend adding tyre sealant to air-filled tyres to help prevent punctures.
Fabric & Seat Liners
Hand wash fabrics in warm water with a gentle detergent and leave to air dry. Avoid machine washing unless specifically stated in your product care instructions.
Frame & Wheels
After muddy, sandy or wet walks, give the frame and wheels a quick clean to prevent dirt building up around moving parts, joints and bearings. Make sure the buggy is dry before storing.
Nuts, Bolts & Fittings
Regularly check that nuts, bolts and fittings are secure and tighten where required. Some maintenance, adjustments and accessory fitting may require basic tools such as a socket or ratchet set.
Storage
Store your buggy somewhere clean and dry when not in use. If storing it for a longer period, slightly deflate air-filled tyres to help preserve the rubber.
