The Nipper Switch is Out’n’About’s innovative two-in-one solution that transforms from a cosy carrycot into a full parent-facing seat. It’s designed for parents who want the flexibility to keep their newborn close and connected, then easily transition to a seat as their baby grows.
The carrycot mode features a luxuriously padded interior, overnight sleep approval, and a removable mattress and cover for easy cleaning. A ventilated mesh peekaboo panel, extendable canopy, and storage pocket offer comfort and practicality for everyday use.
When converted to seat mode, the Switch provides a five-point harness, adjustable recline, and footwell support – plus compatibility with the existing Nipper buggy frame using the same adapters. The included UV sun cover and rain cover fit both configurations.

What Nipper buggies is the Nipper Switch compatible with?
The Nipper Switch fits all current Nipper Single models V2-V6 with the included adaptors.
Can I use the Nipper Switch on the Nipper Double?
No – the Nipper Switch is designed for the single Nipper frame only. The Double range uses its own carrycot system.
What age is the Nipper Switch suitable for?
Carrycot 0-9kg or 0-6m (approx.)
Parent facing seat 6m - 22kg.
How do I convert the carrycot to a parent facing seat?
- Remove the carrycot base by unzipping and detaching the inner lining and metal support bars.
- Attach the seat base, aligning and clicking the lower frame moldings securely into place.
- Zip on the seat cover and reattach the canopy.
- Use the same adapters and frame as the carrycot configuration.
