Yes! You can push the Nipper Pushchair across terrains and to places you wouldn’t think you can take a stroller. This is because of its light frame, suspension, air-filled tyres and lockable three wheels.
Our universal travel system adapter means most infant car seats will fit on the Nipper v5. The Nipper comes with bigger, air filled tyres and has a longer base. The GT comes with EVA foam filled puncture proof tyres. This makes the Nipper more suitable for rough terrain and jogging, while the GT is more suitable for city use. While the GT can go all terrain, it isn’t as good for all-terrain adventures as the Nipper.
The Nipper Sport has bigger tyres and a fixed front wheel, designed for excercise. This makes it a very good buggy across any terrain, but it’s less suitable for everyday use visiting shops, cafes and pubs. The Nipper is great for everyday use and jogging on even terrain, but isn’t suitable for jogging across rough terrain. Typically, customers who buy the Sport have it as an additional buggy for jogging only, or only use it in rural/rough terrain.
Yes! Our carry cot clicks in and out easily creating a comfortable and safe journey for newborns. However, due to limited head control before the child is 6 months old, it’s important to walk gently and stick to even terrain.
Very easily, in a matter of seconds! Simply unclip the locking catches on each side of the frame, and pull the strap in the base of the seat unit. If you need to go even smaller still you can remove the quick-release wheels
All of our pushchairs fold extremely compactly and with quick release wheels removed will fit into the boot of most cars. If you are still unsure please refer to the dimensions featured under product specifications.
Yes, with the fixable front wheel and handle strap, you can jog safely with your nipper. We don’t recommend jogging across rough terrain or jogging before your child is 6 months old. If jogging accross rough terrain is your main priority, the Nipper Sport is a better option
According to the current British Standard BS EN 1888‑1:2018+A1:2022, buggies must come with the warning 'Not suitable for running or skating'. These are under revision and we hope for an update mid 2024. However, with the front wheel fixed, jogging strap on and child strapped in, customers have been jogging on even terrain and participating in their local park run with their Nipper for almost 20 years. If jogging on rough terrain is a priority, we reccomend the Nipper Sport
Yes, the new v5 Nipper comes with a removable basket included. It's removable, because some customers walking through fields with tall grass or using it for jogging, may wish to remove the basket. Clipping a changing bag to the back of the seat can also provide more, easy access storage.
