An important update for V6 customers. We've identified an issue affecting some V6 buggies and developed a free fix for all customers.
In some cases, the buggy’s locking mechanism can appear fully engaged when it is not completely secured. Under repeated impact from bumps or running, this can cause the frame to unwantedly fold.
We are deeply sorry to the families affected. Child safety is our highest priority, and this should never have happened.
Earlier this year, we introduced a repair programme that we believed had resolved the issue. After further investigation, we now know it did not fully address the root cause. We have since identified exactly what caused the problem and developed a permanent fix, alongside significantly enhanced testing procedures including a new heavy duty running rig.

What we found
In some V6 buggies, the locking mechanism can appear fully engaged, it looks locked, it feels locked, but it isn't completely home. Under the impact of bumps or running, it can release.
The fix
We've now fixed this with a third locking point, and overhauled our testing process so every buggy passes a load and impact test significantly above the industry standard.

I went through the first repair programme, do I need to order a part?
Yes. We're sorry. The first programme didn't resolve the root cause, but don’t worry you don’t need to be without your buggy just order the part from us and attach to your buggy.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. The Active lock is free, including shipping.
I've just ordered a V6 buggy will it be included in my order?
Yes - V6 buggies that haven't yet been received will come with the Active lock in the box.
I don't feel comfortable fitting the lock myself
