Optional Inspection & Repair Programme



We’re offering an optional inspection and repair programme for certain Nipper V6 production batches (Single and Double).

This is batch-specific and most buggies are not affected. Within the batches listed below, only a small number of buggies may be affected - however, because we can’t confirm weld strength without inspection, we’re offering a free check for peace of mind for anyone who would like it.

What’s happened

During a recent factory review, we identified that a specific weld process used in certain production batches does not meet our quality standards at a hinge point.

This is batch-specific and does not affect all buggies.

Who is this for?
This programme is for customers with a Nipper V6 from the batch numbers listed below. If your batch number is not listed, there’s nothing you need to do.

If your batch number is listed, an inspection is available as an option, only if you’ve noticed anything unusual, have any concerns, or would simply like peace of mind.


Check your batch number

Please check the batch number on your buggy.

This can be found on the main frame underneath the seat unit, accessible via the basket.

If you’re unable to locate your batch number, please email inspection@outnabout.com and include a photo of the label if possible.

If your batch number is listed above and you’ve noticed anything unusual, have any concerns, or would simply like peace of mind, you can request a free inspection and repair (if required) by submitting the form below.

What happens next:

1. Submit the booking form and select your collection date - starting from 2nd Feb.

2. You will receive a box to package your buggy in

3. Preparing your buggy for collection:

  • Remove all wheels and the basket
  • Remove any accessories
  • Check all pockets are empty
  • Pack your buggy in the box provided
  • Print and stick on the form sent in your collection confirmation email
  • DPD will add the shipping label to the box on collection

4. Your buggy is collected on the date selected and inspected 

5. If required, it will be repaired using the correct parts

6. Your buggy is returned to you within 4 working days

How long will I be without my buggy?

We aim to have your buggy back to you in no more than 4 working days from your collection date.




Do I have to book an inspection?

No - this is optional. If your batch number is listed and you’ve noticed anything unusual, have any concerns, or would simply like peace of mind, a free inspection is available. We will check your buggy, and repair (if required).


What if I can’t find my batch number?
